The Version of Me Nobody Saw
Some of the loneliest moments of my life happened in rooms full of people who loved me.
I had everything on the outside and nowhere to put what was happening on the inside. A close circle, people who loved me, a life that looked fine. And then there was what was actually happening inside my head.
Too much. Always too much.
Feelings I could not name. Thoughts that kept piling up. Things I wanted to say but could not, not because I did not trust the people around me, but because I did not want to put that weight on them. And honestly, sometimes I was scared of being judged, even by the ones closest to me.
So I held it all in.
I remember opening a notebook, writing two lines, and tearing the page out because I was afraid someone might read it. There were nights I would sit with my thoughts for hours because I simply did not know where to put them.
There was no safe space. Not really. And that feeling, that specific feeling of having nowhere to just be, is exactly why Lascialo Essere exists.
When Fashion Became More Than Clothing
Fashion has always felt bigger than clothing to me. It is identity, comfort, and self-expression all at once. And the more I thought about the things people carry quietly, the more I wondered if fashion could become something else too, a doorway into connection, honesty, and belonging.
And when I looked around at people my age, I realised so many of us were carrying things quietly. Nobody was talking about it. And nothing in fashion was making space for it either.
You cannot just tell us your quality is good. You cannot just say you are better than everyone else. We do not stay because something is trendy. We stay because something makes us feel understood. We stay because something makes us feel seen, not sold to.
And then I had one question I could not let go of: what if a piece of clothing was just the beginning?
What if buying something meant getting access to a world? A private one. Anonymous. Safe. Where nobody knows your name, but everyone understands what you are feeling. I sat with that question for a long time. Then I stopped asking it and started building the answer.
Why “Let It Be”
The name is Italian for “let it be.”
Not “let it go,” which asks you to release something. Not “move on,” which asks you to leave it behind. Just let it be, exactly as it is, without anyone asking you to fix it, explain it, or perform it for someone else’s comfort.
That is all any of us really want. To exist without having to explain ourselves. Without judgment. Without performance. Just to be.
So I Built the Space I Always Needed
I could not find the space I needed, so I built one. It simply happens to take the shape of a t-shirt.
When you buy a piece from us, you are not asked to become someone. You are simply given a number and a place to be. A private space where you can leave a thought, share a feeling, or simply exist quietly among people who understand what it means to carry things you cannot always say out loud. No names. No faces. No pressure. Just presence.
I built the space I spent years looking for, so nobody else has to spend years looking too.
